Hi, I'm Jenna. Starry-Eyed Laughter is my art and design brand. Here at my shop I sell fun uplifting colorful items adorned with my artwork and patterns. Much of the designs are mid century modern in style, but I also enjoy and sometimes incorporate fun whimsical and nature themes, and bright colorful patterns. I've been an artist since I can remember, always drawing as a child. I studied studio arts in college at SDSU, and found a particular love for painting and doodling free flowing art pieces. When my first child was 1 and a half, after not creating much besides a human for about 2 years, and having no time or space for creating large paintings, we were isolated together during the pandemic. I began learning how to create designs digitally and have them applied to products to sell, as a means to be creative again, in the spare quiet moments when my son was sleeping, as well as a way to monetize my creativity from home while caring for my son full time. It quickly became an obsession, finding so much joy and satisfaction in figuring out how to create images and patterns digitally, having people actually like them and buy them and even request custom designs, and seeing them come to life in products people buy to decorate their homes and to gift to their loved ones. In the process I have also jumped into the world of mid century modern design and learned about the architecture, furniture, patterns, colors, artists, and more.
