Hey there! A lot has been going on lately. Boyfriend John and I moved back to San Diego just over a month ago. I planted many seeds in the first few weeks and now I have loads of seedlings! We have pots full of beets, leeks, lettuce, quinoa, radishes, basil, cabbage, and cauliflower, and a barrel with a bunch of kale, collards, and chard. There is one lonely garlic plant down in the garden not pictured in this post.
Today I am going to plant some potatoes down in the garden that are sprouting eyes!
And aside from gardening other things have been going on. I am currently searching for part time work doing something I enjoy and related to my goals, and I am also working on getting a large body of art together so I can hang several displays and participate in some art shows and sales. I have been working on some pieces lately, I also stretched a new canvas that is 24″x36″ so I can start another decent sized painting, and yesterday I purchased 12 picture frames to house future art as well as a checker board I’ll use in an art piece all from a thruft store for $22! So today is potato planting, gesso-ing a canvas (putting a sealing coat down to prepare for the paint to be applied), and cleaning up a frame and framing my most recent water color. A fun day 🙂
